我院眼科成立于1976年，已有三十余年的历史，经过几代人的努力，已发展为一个现代化的新眼科。目前有主任医师1名，副主任医师4名，主治医师4名，主管护师1名，住院医师2名，拥有一批高性能、高标准的现代化手术设备，如新一代博士伦超声乳化仪、眼底视网膜光学相干断层成相、扫描激光眼底检查、荧光造影仪、眼底激光仪、手术显微镜、日本进口的验光仪、眼压仪以及视野检查仪、天津产眼科AB超等。设有白内障青光眼和小儿弱视治疗二个专科。年门诊量约30000余人次，年住院病人约400余人次。
眼科病房位于现代化病房大楼八楼，病区住院条件优越，环境整洁，四季如春，再无严寒和酷暑的不便。目前能顺利开展各种白内障、青光眼、小儿斜视、眼外伤和泪器疾病的治疗和手术。1990年被定为镇江市首批白内障定点单位，2007年被评为丹阳市低视力康复指导中心，2008年被评为镇江市儿童低视力康复指导中心，多年来为丹阳及周边地区人民的健康作出了贡献。
在以后的工作中，眼科全体人员将努力开拓，不断进取，精心维护丹阳人民的心灵之窗，还弱视儿童一片光明的蓝天，是我们义不容辞的职责。

There are two specialties for cataract glaucoma and children amblyopia. The annual out-patient volume is about 30,000 person-times, and the annual inpatient volume is about 400 person-times.
The ophthalmic ward is located on the eighth floor of the modern ward building, with excellent inpatient conditions and clean environment. At present, it can successfully carry out the treatment and operation of various cataract, glaucoma, strabismus in children, eye trauma and lacrimal apparatus diseases. In 1990, it was designated as one of the first designated cataract units in Zhenjiang, in 2007, it was rated as danyang Low vision Rehabilitation Guidance Center, and in 2008, it was rated as Zhenjiang Children Low vision Rehabilitation Guidance Center. Over the years, it has made contributions to the health of people in Danyang and surrounding areas.
In the future work, all the staff of ophthalmology will work hard to develop, keep forging ahead, carefully maintain the window of danyang people's heart, and also a bright blue sky for children, which is our bounden duty.
