丹阳市人民医院口腔科技术力量强、设备先进，诊治水平在丹阳地区处于领先地位，先后多人多次深造于南京大学医学院附属口腔医院、苏州大学医学院附属第一人民医院、上海第九人民医院等国内著名医院，培养出一支比较合理的人才梯队。现有副主任医师2名，主治医师6名，住院医师4名,专科护士4名。配置了12台进口高档多功能综合治疗机及烤瓷炉、数字化口腔全景机、数字化牙片机、牙周高频电刀、根管测量仪、根管马达、热牙胶充填机、口腔显微镜、种植机等系列设备。除常规开展各种口腔疾病诊治外，还开展牙颌畸形的正畸治疗、全瓷冠桥修复、后牙根管治疗、热牙胶充填、显微根管治疗、口腔颌面手术、种植义齿等高新技术项目。每年施行颌骨骨折内固定、良性肿瘤摘除等口腔颌面手术200余例。门诊人次3万余次。

Many staff members have studied at famous domestic hospitals like the Stomatological Hospital affiliated to the Medical College of Nanjing University, No. 1 People's Hospital Affiliated to the Medical College of Suzhou University , and the Ninth People's hospital of Shanghai etc. There are 2 deputy chief physicians, 6 attending physicians and5 resident physicians. The department is equipped with 12 imported high-grade multifunctional comprehensive treatment machines and porcelain furnaces, digital oral panoramic machine, digital dental tablet machine, periodontal high-frequency electric knife, root canal measuring instrument, root canal motor, hot tooth glue filling machine, dental microscope, planter and other equipment. In addition to routine diagnosis and treatment of various oral diseases, the department also carries out high-tech projects such as orthodontic treatment of dental malformation, all-ceramic crown and bridge repair, posterior root canal treatment, hot tooth filling, microscopic root canal treatment, oral and maxillofacial surgery, implant denture and so on . More than 200 cases of oral and maxillofacial surgery such as internal fixation of jaw fracture and benign tumor removal are performed every year. And there are over 30,000 outpatient visits per year.
技术特色：
1.口腔正畸
拥有一副漂亮、整齐的牙齿是每个人都有的梦想。随着人们生活水平的快速提高，要求矫治牙列不齐的青少年越来越多。为了满足人们的需要，丹阳市人民医院口腔正畸专科采用方丝弓细丝弓矫治技术、功能矫治技术矫治各种牙颌畸形，如上颌前突、前牙反合、牙列拥挤、前牙深覆合等等，已收治病人千余例，取得满意疗效。
2.后牙根管治疗
根管治疗术是治疗牙髓炎、根尖炎的最好方法。后牙根管治疗由于根管形态的复杂和操作的难度使得该项技术在临床不好把握，我科配备了根管测量仪、根管马达等先进设备，医师经过专项培训，后牙根管治疗的成功率在90％以上。
3.显微根管治疗
显微根管治疗技术是指在手术显微镜辅助下进行根管治疗的技术。该技术利用显微镜的放大和照明功能，大大提高了根管治疗的疗效和质量。显微根管可以对传统根管治疗无法完成或难以完成的病例进行治疗，例如根管遗漏、根管钙化、根管台阶形成、器械断针的处理等，使更多的患牙得以保存。
4.口腔修复
烤瓷冠桥修复是一项口腔仿真技术。根据烤瓷内冠材料不同，主要分为镍铬合金烤瓷冠、钴铬合金烤瓷冠、贵金属烤瓷冠、全瓷冠等。我科医师牙体预备规范、精细，已先后为数千例牙齿缺失患者恢复美观和咀嚼功能，各项技术指标获得专科医院认可和好评。
5.口腔颌面部外科
口腔颌面部肿瘤、骨折等均需通过手术治疗才能康复。我科已熟练开展颌面部良性肿瘤、颌骨囊肿切除以及颌面部骨折坚固内固定等手术。每年开展此类手术百余例。
6.种植义齿
种植牙是治疗牙齿缺失的一项新修复技术，21世纪修复的发展方向，它代表义齿修复的最高水平。是用外科手术的方式在牙床内植入钛金属牙根，金属牙根与周围骨组织结合后，在其上部安装义齿，外观、功能犹如天然牙齿。我科两位经验丰富的医生经过种植专业培训，现在已能熟练进行种植牙修复技术。
